Sewage Treatment Plant
A Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is a facility designed to remove contaminants from wastewater and domestic sewage, making it safe for discharge or reuse. It uses physical, chemical, and biological processes to treat wastewater — removing solids, organic matter, and harmful microorganisms.
The treated water can then be released into the environment or recycled for industrial, agricultural, or landscaping purposes, helping protect public health and the environment.
